Eye emergency? We’ve got you covered — same-day appointments

Sudden Vision Loss or Double Vision

If you suddenly experience blurred or lost vision in one or both eyes—or begin seeing double—it may be a sign of a serious condition such as a retinal artery occlusion, optic neuritis, or stroke. Seek immediate care to preserve your vision.

Eye Trauma or Injury

Injuries from blunt force, sharp objects, or accidents can seriously damage the eye. Prompt treatment helps prevent long-term complications and vision loss. Our clinic is equipped to handle urgent eye trauma cases.

Foreign Body in the Eye or Chemical Exposure

Metal, dust, or chemicals in the eye can lead to infection, corneal scarring, or vision loss. If you get something in your eye or suffer chemical exposure, don’t rub—flush and come in immediately for treatment.

Herpes Zoster Keratitis

Shingles in or around the eye can cause painful inflammation and vision loss. Herpes zoster keratitis requires prompt antiviral therapy to protect the cornea and prevent lasting damage.

Flashes and Floaters (Possible Retinal Detachment)

Sudden flashes of light or an increase in floaters may signal a retinal tear or detachment—a vision-threatening emergency. Call our office immediately for an urgent evaluation and imaging.

Retinal Issues (Possible Wet Macular Degeneration)

Blurry central vision, distorted lines, or dark spots could be signs of wet macular degeneration. Early treatment is key to preventing permanent central vision loss.

Painful Red Eye (e.g., Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma), Eye Pressure Spikes

A red, painful eye with nausea or headache could be an acute glaucoma attack. This condition causes dangerously high eye pressure and must be treated within hours to save vision.

Corneal Abrasion

Scratches on the cornea from fingers, debris, or contact lenses cause pain, tearing, and light sensitivity. Left untreated, abrasions can become infected and scar. We provide fast relief and healing guidance.

Severe Eye Infections (Redness, Discharge, Swelling)

Sudden redness, swelling, or pus from the eye could indicate conjunctivitis, keratitis, or another serious infection. Our team offers same-day care to relieve symptoms and prevent spread or damage.

Painful Styes (Hordeolum), Lid Swelling

Painful bumps or swelling on the eyelid can affect vision and comfort. We treat styes and eyelid infections quickly, helping reduce inflammation and prevent recurrence.
